Industry-led learning
At THSA, learning is built on real-world experience and strong industry connections. Through our Professional Learning Centre (PLC), students are supported by a dedicated team focused on career readiness, industry engagement and practical learning opportunities.
From internships and mentoring to guest speakers and international study tours, our courses are designed to connect classroom learning with real hospitality, tourism and events environments.
Throughout your degree, you’ll connect with leading professionals and brands in ways that bring your studies to life.
- Guest speakers and industry panel sessions
Learn directly from professionals who share real case studies, career insights and current industry trends. These sessions give students the opportunity to ask questions, explore challenges and gain practical career advice.
- Local site visits & field trips
Step inside hotels, venues and live operations to experience how theory applies in a professional setting. These visits help students experience different roles and work environments
- Singapore study tour
Join an 8 day international field trip supported by the New Colombo Plan (NCP) where students explore tourism and hospitality in a global context. Students gain access to international businesses and cross cultural experiences that broaden career perspectives.
- Alumni networks
Our alumni go on to build successful careers in hotels, tourism, events and leadership roles around the world. Many stay connected with THSA returning as guest speakers, mentors and career supporters for students. These connections offer valuable advice and inspiration from people who have been same path.
